Great new film putting out the truth about animal agriculture.
Please watch wherever you can, and then have a good long think before buying supporting animal agriculture ever again.

Inspired by the TV show Watchmen. You can read it over at Uncanny.
An interesting and thought provoking essay by one of my favourite writers. Djèlí is a historian by day and he provides lots of links for you to learn things with.
And for those of you who haven’t watched Watchmen yet, then seriously get the fuck out from under that rock you’ve been living under and turn the computer on and find it. Seriously good TV.
Season 2 has finally appeared and the most important thing is that all the cast seemed to have survived intact from covid — which is obviously the best thing ever.
Basically, if you enjoyed Season 1, then you’ll love this as it’s pretty much more of the same continuing on from where we left off. If you didn’t enjoy Season 1 then you need psychiatric help rather quickly.
Anyways, super duper, love this series and can’t wait for Season 3 which will be made whenever it gets made but is most probably going to get made at some point as soon as Rob has finished working on another show.
This week in politics we were given a very good example of Dunning-Kruger effect.
On top of the Dunning-Kruger we also get to see extreme Narcissistic Personality Disorder in action, with Trump deciding that this test would be almost impossible for anyone else to pass.
If the president of the usa is — by his own admission — finding a cognitive impairment test, “very difficult”, and finds it hard to believe that most other people wouldn’t be able to pass it then please, please, someone, anyone, remove this clown from office.
That some people are still believing that he’s a great president and will vote for him again just shows that democracy is a load of bollox: when you give idiots the vote they’ll vote for idiots.
And so, in this age of fake news, we have the president of the usa performing his own fake news for our entertainment dollar.
Please watch his face and right hand as he recites his pre-arranged “Person, Woman, Man, Camera, TV.”
Now consider how everything was arranged for this interview:
I shall say no more.
Finally, something good to come out of apple: never thought i’d hear myself say that — or type it. I suppose that humanity’s most despised, fruit embossed, utterly evil, greed-feeding corporation has to do something decent once in a while.
Yes folks, if you’re looking for a good sitcom to cheer you up then this might just be what you’re looking for.
It gave me a good few giggles anyway.
The season itself was officially 9 episodes but they went ahead and made a special 10th episode entitled “Quarantine”. Yes folks, all our favourite characters from the series video-ing in from home to make up the whole episode — and it’s a super good fun thing to cheer us up in our miserable quarantined lifestyles that we’re all having to endure these days. So make sure you find that 10th episode when you think you’ve watched the whole series.
It’s so good that the utterly evil, greed driven apple corporation renewed it for a second series before this was even released: so we have some more good giggles to look forward to sometime in the future.
And yes, before you ask, there is a Season 2.
Production by Esmail Corp and directed by Sam Esmail. Sam is also executive producer of this and Briarpatch. And if you’re still not with it, he’s also the guy who created Mr. Robot. Oh, that Sam Esmail. Yes, that Sam Esmail.
It’s all a bit strange to start: Heidi Bergman, now a waitress, is questioned by Thomas Carrasco, a Department of Defence auditor, as to her role in the Homecoming Transitional Support Center, about which she claims to have no knowledge. We then switch back and forth in timelines with Heidi, years earlier, running Homecoming while in the present claiming to have no knowledge of doing so.
There’s some great acting all round in this, but especially from Shea Whigham who plays Thomas Carrasco, the downtrodden cog in the DoD machine, to absolute perfection.
It’s good. So good i even watched season 2: review coming soon.
The Blacklist usually has some great season endings but, sadly, this season had to end early. Bummer.
So what we’ve learned this season is that Raymond is on his last legs, health wise, and tidying up his estate ready for the inevitable death. One would have thought he’d already done that considering his line of work.
Raymond also discovers that Katarina, or whoever she really is, isn’t dead after all.
So now we have to watch yet another season to find out what is actually happening and who Raymond really is.
On a sad note, we have to say a final goodbye to Brian Dennehy, who left us in April. Over 180 films and many tv shows besides — including The Blacklist of course. Now that is one really superb innings.
Yet more brilliance from the Westworld franchise.
If you haven’t watched Westworld yet, then get out from under your rock and do so.
Anyways, a great ending to a great season. One is now left eagerly awaiting season 4.
Truly a television show with a difference.
I would definitely recommend it to those of us who enjoyed Mr Robot, especially the bits where you realise that everything you just watched is not what it seemed you were watching. Yeah, another one of those weird, strangely odd endings.
Great cast, great acting, great filming, great location, just great.
I’m presuming that this will be only a single season, i hope it is, because, just like you, it’s special.
Now stop reading this and go and become an agent of divine nonchalance.
Season 5 certainly didn’t feel anything like as good as previous seasons, like everything became rather stale and a lot of what happens just seems pointless and stocking filling. It’s all quite reminiscent of Breaking Bad’s two penultimate seasons, which also seemed quite superfluous to the overall story line.
Apparently, season 6 will be the last and one can’t help but think that season 5 has been completely used to set everyone and their story lines up for their finale. At least, that’s what i’m hoping, because i’d hate to think that season 6 is going to be more like this.
Ho hum, we shall have to keep our collective fingers crossed and wait and see next year.
