This is where all the books i already own that are awaiting the purchase of the rest of their series go to await their arrival. Once a series is complete it gets thrown onto “The Pile”.
All of this usually gets decided when Amazon put them on a special offer — firstly, because i’m poor, and secondly, “The Pile” is already chockablock with standalones and complete series waiting in earnest to be read that it’s utterly stupid paying full price for a book when i’m in no rush, whatsoever, to read it.
